Service Agreement
Please refer to your master service agreement. The Hosting Acceptable Use Policy is an addendum to the service agreement for all hosting customers.
Acceptable Usage Policy
Please read these policies before your purchase
This AUP governs the use of Tarika Tech (“Tarika Tech”) web hosting services. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your service. In the event of a dispute between you and Tarika Tech regarding the interpretation of this AUP, Tarika Tech’s interpretation, in its reasonable commercial judgment, shall govern. Offensive Content
You may not publish or transmit via Tarika Tech’s service any content that Tarika Tech reasonably believes:
- Constitutes child pornography or any form of exploitation.
- Constitutes pornography or sexually explicit material.
- Is excessively violent, incites violence, threatens violence, or contains harassing content or hate speech.
- Is unfair or deceptive under consumer protection laws, including chain letters and pyramid schemes.
- Is defamatory or violates a person's privacy.
- Creates a risk to a person's safety or health, public safety, national security, or interferes with law enforcement investigations.
- Improperly exposes trade secrets or confidential/proprietary information of another person.
- Assists others in defeating technical copyright protections.
- Clearly infringes on another person's trade or service mark, patent, or other property right.
- Promotes illegal drugs, violates export control laws, relates to illegal gambling, or illegal arms trafficking.
- Is otherwise illegal, solicits illegal conduct, or is malicious, fraudulent, or may result in retaliation against Tarika Tech.
Unaccepted Materials
Tarika Tech does not accept material such as:
- Proxy, VPN, Warez, Escrow, High-Yield Investment Programs (HYIP), illegal gambling, and lottery sites or services.
- Cryptocurrency mining operations unless explicitly permitted.
- AI-generated misinformation, deepfake content, or synthetic media designed to deceive users.
- Automated bots or web scraping tools used for unethical purposes.
Content “published or transmitted” via Tarika Tech’s service includes Web content, e-mail, bulletin board postings, chat, and any other type of posting or transmission relying on any Internet service provided by Tarika Tech.
Tarika Tech can terminate service for any of the above reasons, and it is at Tarika Tech’s sole discretion to issue a refund.
Security
- You must take reasonable security precautions to protect your account, including the use of multi-factor authentication (MFA) where applicable.
- You must protect the confidentiality of your password and should change it periodically.
- Customers must keep their software, scripts, and applications updated to prevent security vulnerabilities.
- Unauthorized access attempts, scanning, or exploitation of Tarika Tech’s network or other customers' data is strictly prohibited.
Bulk Commercial E-Mail
Any kind of bulk emailing is strictly prohibited with shared or reseller hosting. With VPS, Hybrid, or Dedicated hosting, you must obtain Tarika Tech’s advance approval for any bulk commercial e-mail, which will not be granted unless you meet strict compliance guidelines, including CAN-SPAM compliance and opt-in procedures.
Unsolicited E-Mail
You may not send any unsolicited e-mail, either in bulk or individually, to any person who has indicated they do not wish to receive it. You must comply with the rules of any other network you access or participate in using Tarika Tech’s services.
Material Protected by Copyright
You may not publish, distribute, or otherwise copy in any manner any music, software, art, or other work protected by copyright law unless:
- You have been expressly authorized by the copyright owner.
- You are permitted under established United States copyright law.
Tarika Tech will terminate the service of repeat copyright infringers.
Copyright Infringement Notice (Digital Millennium Copyright Act)
If you believe your copyright is being infringed by a person using the Tarika Tech network, please submit a DMCA takedown request via [Online Form] or email [email protected].
Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of an authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material and its location.
- Contact information (address, phone, and email).
- A statement of good faith belief in unauthorized use.
- A statement confirming the accuracy of the notice under penalty of perjury.
Internet Abuse
You may not engage in illegal, abusive, or irresponsible behavior, including:
- Unauthorized access, scanning, or probing of systems/networks.
- Monitoring data or traffic without authorization.
- Interference with any service, including mail bombing, flooding, overloading, or attacks.
- Forging TCP-IP packet headers or email headers.
- Any conduct likely to result in retaliation against Tarika Tech or its customers.
Newsgroups, Chat Forums, and Other Networks
You must comply with the rules of any bulletin board, chat group, or forum in which you participate. These groups usually prohibit off-topic commercial messages or mass postings.
