This doesn\\&#8217;t work when you start the connection you get the following error:<br \/>\n<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15168\" src=\"https:\/\/v9.tarikatechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rdpsavedcred1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"427\" height=\"275\" srcset=\"https:\/\/v9.tarikatechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rdpsavedcred1.jpg 427w, https:\/\/v9.tarikatechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rdpsavedcred1-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 427px) 100vw, 427px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\\&#8221;Your system administrator does not allow the use of saved credentials to logon to the remote computer computername\/ipadress because its identity is not fully verified. Please enter new credentials.<br \/>\nThe logon attempt failed\\&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis happens when trying to connect to a computer \/ server in another domain and no trust relationships exists. Windows then steps back to use NTLM and the default domain machine policy prohibits use of saved credentials. You can change this domain based or for a individual machine:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start local group policy editor, start \u2013 run \u2013 gpedit.msc<\/li>\n<li>Go to Local Computer Policy \u2013 Computer Configuration \u2013 Administrative Templates \u2013 System \u2013 Credentials Delegation<\/li>\n<li>Edit \\&#8221;Allow Delegating Saved Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication\\&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Enable the policy, click Show and enter the value \\&#8221;TERMSRV\/*\\&#8221; into the list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15169\" src=\"https:\/\/v9.tarikatechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rdpsavedcred2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"455\" srcset=\"https:\/\/v9.tarikatechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rdpsavedcred2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/v9.tarikatechnologies.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rdpsavedcred2-300x273.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do the same thing for the following policies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Allow Delegating Saved Credentials<\/li>\n<li>Allow Delegating Default Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication and<\/li>\n<li>Allow Delegating Default Credentials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Close the policy editor, open a command prompt and use <strong>gpupdate \/force<\/strong> to apply the policy directly<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When using remote desktop connection to connect to windows server 2008, 2008 R2, sbs 2008, vista or windows 7 and would use saved credentials.
